Competitive Licenses Waived for Wakeboard (2013)Posted by: pperson Posted in: Events, Nationals, News
The WSWC Board had a look at the competitive license plan for this year and decided that it was best to waive the competitive license fees for wakeboard for this year. This waiver is for 2013 only, but there will be a bigger review of competitive licenses in the coming year to come up with a plan that works for everyone.
So, for nationals, you do not need a national (WSWC) competitive license. However, you do need to be a member of your provincial association. Be sure to join your association to get access to insurance benefits and to support coaching, judging and sport development programs that make our sport better. All of this, and you get access to the incredible Wake nationals events this year.
For more on the change, you can check out the full notice here.
